Single Pole-to-Ground Fault Location System for MMC-HVDC Transmission Lines Based on Active Pulse and CEEMDAN

چکیده

To solve the problem of location fault point single-pole-to-ground faults in transmission lines MMC-HVDC systems, this paper designs a system based on support vector machine (SVM). The waveform traveling wave after occurs is collected as feature, and regression mechanism SVM utilized to achieve location. Because it very difficult locate high-resistance ground faults, first analyzes characteristics faults. Next, three steps are proposed reduce influence grounding resistance These include using active pulse new classifying samples according values before training models, method for adaptively extracting distance features proposed. Finally, complete design proposed, its workflow illustrated. After simulation test, only needs obtain single-ended voltage at recording frequency 20 kHz an accurate different resistance.
